We are committed to ensuring that all families, regardless of income can participate in FWYSO ensembles. We have set aside a significant financial assistance allowance to support any family experiencing higher-than-usual pressures or burdens this Fall. No family will be turned away because of an inability to pay tuition.

Volunteer Requirement
We ask all BYSO families to fulfill at least four hours of volunteer service per musician per year. Many different simple tasks are available. We often also have office odd jobs and small projects that are perfect for students needing a few more Community Service hours.

- $40 Audition/Registration Fee: This is non-refundable fee for each audition, payable at the time of the audition registration. Students in sections without audition requirements are responsible for the registration fee each year.
- Ticket Requirements: Families are required to purchase 5 tickets to each FWYO concert, for a $100 fee. These can be sold or given to family and friends. Single tickets are available at $20/ticket in addition to the required five.
