Welcome and thank you for your interest in auditioning for the Federal Way Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Program!
We’re so glad you’re here. This application connects you to all three concerts series-Junior and Senior. During the audition process, our experienced adjudication team thoughtfully places each musician in the ensemble where they will thrive and grow.
On this page, you’ll find everything you need to prepare for auditions, including detailed requirements for each instrument and level of experience. We encourage you to explore each section and review the information carefully—we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Audition Process
1. Fill out application form
2. Pay Audition fee $40 (Pay through Zelle, 425-647-3847 or send mail a check to the FWYSO Academy building below.)
2. Video Audition OR In-Person Audition on August 19th (Wed), 10-3 pm @ FWYSO Academy
